These new Star Wars drones are the most fun you can have with a controller

”This is not a toy. I can’t stress that enough.”

Propel CEO Darren Matloff stood 6 feet from me earlier this week, resting a tiny replica of the classic Tie Advanced fighter in his hand, with the most serious face he could muster as he uttered that phrase. It sure looked like a toy; in fact, it looked like a palm-sized drone I’d be able to fly around my office in a few days. But he was seriously standing there telling me the three Star Wars-themed drones being introduced to the world were not toys.

If not toys, what are they? For Propel, these drones are a huge step forward in being publicly recognized as a leader in the drone world. The partnership between Propel and Disney is, like all of the truly special Star Wars products released every year,…

Nintendo’s hybrid console/mobile gaming device is hugely popular. Should you jump on the bandwagon?

When Nintendo first unveiled the Switch hybrid console/mobile gaming device, the community gave out a collective ”meh.” Even after the company announced the release date game lineup, we were not impressed. As time went on, though, the Switch has grown in popularity and Nintendo announced in its Q1 financial results that it had sold 4.7 million of them in the first four months. By comparison, in December of 2016, there were only 13.56 million Wii U consoles sold across its entire existence. Stores literally couldn’t keep Switches on the shelves during the first six months.

It appears that Nintendo has finally, at least temporarily, caught up with demand and you can walk into most retailers and just buy a Switch. Now that it’s so much easier to buy than every before, you might be wondering whether you should join in the fun or if you should put your money toward something else. Well, i…

Cases, cases, cases, I love cases, down in my pocket. In the past, I have reviewed minimalist-style cases, luxurious wood-laden cases, protective cases straight out of Fort Knox, and now, I am trying out a fit-life, active-style convertible case designed by tech21, and no, your eyes aren’t deceiving you… I said ”convertible”.

The tech21 Evo Wallet Active Edition case is a 2-in-1 case, which incorporates a removable front cover which can be used to stuff all sorts of things in to free up your pocket space, or wallet, when you hit the trail or go for a nice run.

Sound great? Let’s dive a little bit deeper and see what this case is all about.

There’s a whole lot of great news coming for Hue owners today.

Philips has announced updates across the entire Hue line of smart bulbs, making it easier to fill either a single room or a whole house with lots of new options. It’s the biggest update to the Hue lineup since the switch to the new square sync box and integrated with HomeKit, complete with pricing options that are slightly easier for new users to swallow.

Everything starts with a starter kit in the Hue world, and Philips has replaced the classic three-bulb kit with you choice of either a two-bulb kit or a four-bulb kit. The new White-only bulb kits will be available for $99, while the White Ambiance and White and Color bulb kits will be available for $149 and $199 respectively.
