Check out the Mobile Makers Academy hackathon and help support a good cause

Mobile Makers Academy, a group that runs iOS development bootcamps, is holding a "hackathon-for-the-good" in Chicago from July 10-12. Called "Helping Hack Chicago," the event will feature Mobile Makers alumni and other developers working to quickly build mobile apps that make a difference, all to benefit a local non-profit organization.

If you're interested in attending and checking out what unique mobile app ideas developers come up with, the event will kick off at 6 PM on July 10 and run through 4 PM on July 12 at Mobile Makers Academy in Chicago.

Also worth checking out is the Mobile Makers Academy app showcase, which will show off the different apps crafted by the academy's most recent graduates on July 2 from 5 PM to 8 PM. And if you're interested in learning to develop iOS apps yourself, Mobile Makers Academy's next bootcamp is set to kick off on July 13, and the academy is currently running an early bird promo that will cut $500 off of bootcamp tuition for anyone who signs up by July 3.
