Leaked photos further hint at upcoming MacBook Pro with OLED touch bar

A new set of photos has emerged, showing off what is alleged to be the keyboard from an upcoming refreshed MacBook Pro, giving us a closer look at where the rumored OLED touchpad may be located. Reported by Cult of Mac, the images show an empty space above the keyboard where the function keys would normally reside. According to recent murmurings, that space will be used to house an OLED touch bar, replacing the physical function keys on the next MacBook Pro.

Further images of the sides of the chassis show what appear to be four USB Type-C ports, but no MagSafe or SD Card slot. If these are indeed the real deal, this suggests that Apple may turn to USB Type-C to power the next McBook Pro. Thin speaker grills can also be spotted on either side of the keyboard, along with what looks to be a headphone jack as well.

While the images do line up with some of what has been rumored recently, the next MacBook Pro has also been said to sport a Touch ID sensor.

In any case, as with all image leaks, these latest should be taken with the requisite giant grain of salt. That said, what would you like to see on the next MacBook Pro? Let us know what you think in the comments!
