Echo owners can try Amazon Music free for four whole months right now

Exactly zero dollars.

Amazon is offering Echo owners four months of Amazon Music Unlimited for free. That’d normally cost you $40, but there’s a catch. You have to be a new user to the service.

Amazon Music Unlimited gets you access to millions of songs. You can listen offline, skip as many times as you want, and listen hands-free using your Alexa device.

Note that the subscription automatically renews at the $7.99 per month rate for Prime members or $9.99 for non-Prime Members unless you cancel it beforehand. Cancellation is easy; just go to your Amazon Subscription Settings.

If you don’t have an Echo device, you can still try Amazon Music Unlimited for free, albeit for a shorter time period.

Wondering how Amazon Music Unlimited stacks up against Spotify? Android Central has you covered. Oh, and if you think you’ll prefer Spotify, there’s a deal on that too.

iPhone XS pricing — Was it too damn high?

Are iPhone prices too $%&$ high?

iPhone pricing is too damn high. That’s a singular way of expressing a sentiment that’s become all too common since Apple announced the iPhone 10s and 10s Max last September.

So, are they? And, if so, is that what caused Apple’s iPhone pain this quarter?

Watch the video version. Seriously. It’s so much better.

Tim Cook was asked about pricing directly during the Q&A portion of Apple’s Q1 2019 financial results call yesterday.

If you look at what we did this past year, we priced the iPhone XS in the U.S. the same as we’d priced the iPhone X a year ago. The iPhone XS Max, which was new, was $100 more than the XS. And then we priced the XR right in the middle of where the entry iPhone 8 and entry iPhone 8 Plus have been priced. So that’s actually a pretty small difference in the United States compared to last year.

I’ll go over historical pricing changes in the U.S. in more detail in a minute, but so far, so clear.

However, the fo…

Don’t lose your UltraViolet movies — transfer them to Movies Anywhere!

Transfer your UltraViolet movies to Vudu before it shuts down so you can access them on Movies Anywhere.

Movies Anywhere is Disney’s attempt to merge all of those digital movie services where you purchase content into one place. You don’t have to watch all of your movies in Movies Anywhere. Instead, the service brings the movies to you. If you’ve bought digital movies on iTunes, Amazon, Vudu, Xfinity, Microsoft, FandangoNOW, or Google Play, you can now watch all of them on whichever your preferred service is.

If you recently received an email from UltraViolet that the company is closing and you’ll have to link your movies to another account by July 31, 2019, you might be wondering whether you can get these movies into your Movies Anywhere account. You can add your UltraViolet movies to Movies Anywhere, but you need a Vudu account to do so (I know, you have to sign up for one more account).

Note: Not all movies are supported by Movies anywhere, so it’s a good idea to have your Ultr…
