Totallee Thin is totally my daily-use iPhone 11 Pro case and here’s why

It’s ultra-thin all the way for me, and Totallee’s case is my bliss.

Every person has a different idea of what makes a good case. That’s why there are so many different styles and colors out there. Some want the flashiest look. Others want convenience. Rugged cases are a favorite for clumsy fingers. For me, it’s an ultra-thin case. Something that makes me feel OK with setting my iPhone on a concrete slab, but doesn’t feel like there’s a case on it. I also prefer clear instead of any color (though I do love a good colorful case from time to time) because I always get Apple’s newest color and so feel compelled to show it off.

This is where Totallee’s Thin iPhone case comes in. It’s 0.02″ thin. It’s practically paper thin. Not as thin as plastic wrap, but only a little thicker. It’s my everyday case (believe me, I switch cases often, but I always go back to my Totallee). I’ve had one since the iPhone X and it’s the first case I bought for my iPhone 11 Pro, even before it arrived.

Latest iOS 13 update improves Siri Shortcuts on HomePod

In another bug fix update to iOS 13, Apple released iOS 13.1.2 today that, to Siri Shortcuts user’s delight, brings back support for running shortcuts from HomePod.

Since the release of iOS 13, users have not been able to run Siri Shortcuts from their HomePods, leaving users with an error message when they tried to test out the new changes to Shortcuts. In this update, that’s been resolved, allowing users to run and interact with multi-step Siri Shortcuts from their HomePod, hands-free. We’ve got details on how to get the changes, what they mean, and 5 shortcuts for you to use on HomePod.

One thing to note: this update is iOS 13.1.2 for iPhone, not the HomePod – HomePod still runs iOS 12.4 after this update and that is not a mistake. Apple hasn’t updated the HomePod itself, but fixed the bug that was preventing HomePod from passing any shortcuts back to the phone for processing. Siri Shortcuts and other Personal Requests are triggered on HomePod, but all the work is handled b…

Apple Maps ’Look Around’ feature expands to Los Angeles

With the rollout of iOS 13, Apple added the ’Look Around’ feature for Apple Maps that took a page out of Google Maps’ Street View allowing users to take a 360-degree view of most major streets within a city. Unfortunately, the feature was only offered for a few select cities, but Apple has expanded support to a new major city.

Look Around support is now offered for the Los Angeles region, including the central hub Downtown Los Angeles. Users in the L.A. area will have access to street information from Burbank down to Long Beach. It also goes all the way to the coast covering Santa Monica Beach and goes as far east as Pomona. It does not quite reach the Orange County …

Halide update for iPhone 11 Pro makes switching lenses a breeze

One of the best camera apps just got better.

What you need to know

Halide has been updated with enhanced support for iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.
There’s a new Lens Switcher feature for quickly switching lenses on the iPhone 11 Pro.
Halide is also introducing a new feature known as Lens Guides.
Halide on Monday released an important update that brings enhanced support for Apple’s new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. Among the new features, which Halide detailed in a blog post, is support for a ”tactile Lens switcher.”

A a glance, our lens switcher looks the same as before; we kept it in the same spot so it doesn’t interfere with your viewfinder and is within easy reach. Keeping the viewfinder clear of any obstructions is one of our highest priorities.

To cycle between the iPhone 11 Pro’s different focal lengths, simply press the 1x, 2x, and 0.5x sizes. Users can also use Haptic touch to bring up a lens switcher, so they can easily go for 0.5x to 2x without cycling all the way thr…
