Every week in the App Store, an app or game goes free for seven days. This week, Halftone 2 will let you unleash your inner comic book artist.
Halftone 2 is an app that helps you make your own comic and scrap books, and its this week's Free App of the Week on the App Store. You can build books out of your own photos and videos, and share them with friends and family as documents, images, and even HD video.
In Halftone 2, you can apply photo filters, captions, and more to your images. The app features unique captions and balloon styles, like speech bubbles and thought balloons. You can write captions in six comic-themed fonts, and depth, color, and more to your creations. Add one of the included stamps or make your own. You can also purchase different element packs to spice up your comics even more.
Halftone 2 is free on the App Store until July 2.
