Apple reportedly begins production on next generation iPhone 6s with Force Touch

Apple has reportedly started production on the next generation iPhone. According to Bloomberg, this year's iPhone models will retain the same size and design as last year's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, but with the addition of a Force Touch display.

Apple Inc. has started early production of new iPhone models with a feature called Force Touch, which senses how hard users are pressing down on a screen, people with knowledge of the matter said.
The report goes on to mention that, while the production is in the early stages, it is likely to ramp up next month. Additionally, while production will enjoy a smooth start due to the continuation of the design featured on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, the report notes that Apple could potentially hit a hitch in the supply chain for its Force Touch displays.
The addition of Force Touch to the iPhone has been rumored and predicted for a while now, and could open up all-new ways of interacting with the device. Other improvements rumored for the next generation iPhone include a 12MP camera and a body made out of the same aluminum alloy found in the Apple Watch Sport.
