Apple and Nike reach settlement terms on Fuelband Class Action Suit

Apple and Nike have reached an agreement regarding the Class Action suit that the two companies were facing over the Fuelband. While neither company has admitted any fault or wrong-doing, both have come to an agreement. With this agreement, they will pay consumers $15 cash or a $25 gift card to avoid the hassle of the on-going suit.

The case was originally filed in 2013, claiming that the two companies had made false and misleading statements about the bands ability to track steps and calories. Customers who purchase a Fuelband between January 19th, 2012 to June 17th, 2015 can file a claim through the settlement's official website until January 4th, 2016.
