Facebook Moments hits version 2.0, now available outside the US

Facebook has rolled out an update for its Moments app, which enables groups of friends to connect with one another and easily share photos. The main feature of the app is to make it easy for more than one person to effectively synchronize captured shots, a perfect solution for when at events with others.

Version 2.0 of Moments introduces the following changes:

  • Create a new moment by tapping the plus button at the top right.
  • Use Moments in your language. The app is now translated into more than 30 different languages.
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

As well as the above changes, TechCrunch reports that Facebook has rolled out video support that enables the app to automatically create a music video for six or more photos. These clips can then be shared on the social network.

Facebook has also rolled out Moments in a considerable number of markets. Previously, the app was only available for those in the US. Give the update a download, or install the app if you happen to reside in one of the newly supported markets, and let us know how you get on in the comments.
