App Store gaming gets an official Twitter account of its own

While Apple has long maintained a Twitter account for the App Store, promoting new apps, deals, and more, the company now offers an account devoted specifically to games on the store. The account, registered in July, made its first public appearance today, offering a simple message and a GIF.

The account is maintained and curated by the App Store's games editors. It joins other official Apple Twitter accounts like those for Apple Music, iTunes, and iBooks.
