tvOS Developer Preview for Apple TV launching today with hardware kit

During Apple's press event in San Francisco, the company revealed that the tvOS Developer Preview for its Apple TV set-top box will be available to access today.

App creators will be able to create software that will be used by Apple's revamped Apple TV, and the company will also offer hardware kits so that developers can get started making apps for the set-top box. The tvOS tools should become available later today on Apple's developer site.
