Apps are universal across the new Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad

There's some big news if you're intrigued by Apple's new Apple TV: apps will be universal between Apple TV, iPad, and iPhone. Users will be able to purchase an app just once on any of their iOS devices and play across all of them.

This should give you a big boost right away once you pick up the new Apple TV. Since tvOS is based on iOS, your games and apps will carry over and be available right on the big screen. Combined with the touch controls of the new Apple TV remote, this should make for a pretty pleasant experience.
