During Apple's press event in San Francisco, the company announced a price cut for its iPad mini 2 tablet to just $269. It also revealed the iPad mini 4 for the starting price of $399.

What is the iPad mini 4? Basically, Apple says it has the same hardware and performance of the iPad Air 2, but in the mini's smaller size. It will weigh just 0.65 pounds. In case you are wondering, both the iPad Air and iPad Air 2 are still being sold by Apple as well.
