Luxury fashion retailer Burberry launches curated Apple Music channel

Luxury fashion retailer Burberry is bringing a little class to Apple Music with the launch of its own channel on the service. The channel is a natural extension of the brand's efforts with Burberry Acoustic, through which the company highlights upcoming British artists.

The channel is available now under the "Curators" section when searching for Burberry on Apple Music's Connect. As reported by The New York Times, Burberry's is also planning to debut exclusive videos of British artists filmed at the Burberry Womenswear show, which takes place on September 21.

With the launch of its own curated channel, Burberry joins other curators such as Vice, GQ, and Pitchfork. Also of note is that Apple's retail chief, Angela Ahrendts, was formerly the CEO of Burberry before landing at Apple, so a collaboration between the two isn't all that surprising.
