LINE Messenger adds ’Letter Sealing’ feature to make your messages even more secure

LINE Messenger, a popular cross-platform messaging app has added a new security-focused feature, Letter Sealing. The idea behind the new feature is to further protect messages as they are being sent, and prevent any unauthorized access during the message delivery phase. Letter Sealing is available not only on smartphones, but also on both Mac and Windows computers.

Letter Sealing is the latest addition to LINE's array of numerous security features and programs, which already boast stringent security system. Hidden Chat, time limited messaging feature, and Passcode Lock, a four-digit security pin, are a few examples the available security features.

The new feature is available on both iOS and Android, as long as you are using LINE 5.3 or later. Letter Sealing is applied by default, but if you want to ensure that it is on you can do so in the settings menu.
