What’s new on the App Store: Over and Graphic, Minecraft’s Story Mode, and apps for Halloween

Each week, the App Store highlights some of the best new and updated apps. This week, there are new apps for photos and drawing, Minecraft: Story Mode, and apps and games for Halloween.

We start this week with Over 3.0, an app that lets you add stylized text, artwork, and more to your photos. You can use DNA Play to let your kids build interesting monsters while learning the basic concepts of DNA. Autodesk has introduced Graphic, a new app for vector drawing. Finally, Realifex helps you set goals for personal improvements.

Games this week start off with Minecraft: Story Mode, an episodic adventure game based in the world of Minecraft. Take a dive into old-school platforming with Downwell, and take to the basketball court in 2K's latest installment of their hit series, NBA 2K16. You can also serve coffee on an intergalactic scale with Super Barista.

The App Store is getting ready for Halloween, coming in just a couple of weeks, with a collection of apps and games centered around the holiday. You've got games, like Haunt the House: Terrortown and Costume Quest. There are kid-friendly apps like Toca Boo and Sago Mini Monsters. There are also apps for making a costume, as well as apps for telling scary stories, like iPoe.

Check back next week for more new apps and games from the App Store, and remember to check out this week's Free App of the Week.
