Microsoft updates Office apps for iPhone and iPad with file renaming support

Microsoft released new updates this week for its free Excel, PowerPoint and Word Office apps for the iPhone and iPad. All three apps now allow users to rename files from the Open or Recent tabs.

In addition, the Excel app has added couple of extra features as well when being used on the iPad. One is the ability for users to create or edit comments. In addition, the Excel app now has a new task pane where users can see everyone else's comments.
