Apple unveils its own Apple Watch charging dock

Apple's own charging dock for the Apple Watch is now official. The company is selling it both in retail stores around the world, as well as in its own online store. It's set to be officially available from all Apple Retail Stores beginning Friday, November 20.

As previously reported, the Apple Watch charging dock plugs into the wall via a Lightning cable, and charges your watch in one of two positions. First, you can have your watch lie flat on its back. Second, you can pop up the MagSafe charging disc to have your watch charge on its side, allowing it to work in Nightstand mode.

The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock comes in white, and is available from Apple for $79 in the U.S., and €89 in Europe.
