The icon for the Apple Watch Companion app may have been leaked

The icon design for the upcoming Apple Watch Companion app for the iPhone may have found its way to the Internet. 9to5Mac's Mark Gurman posted an image of what he says is the app icon on his Twitter page earlier today.

9to5Mac previous posted screenshots of the actual Companion app, along with a lot of information on how it will reportedly manage the Apple Watch. Apple CEO Tim Cook stated last week the Apple Watch will go on sale sometime in April, but so far there's no word on a specific launch date for the long-awaited smartwatch.
