Getting around SXSW just got easier with Apple Maps Transit for Austin

Austin Texas is now the ninth U.S. city to get transit directions for Apple Maps, and just in time for South by Southwest (SXSW 2016).
Transit direction originally came to Maps last fall with the launch of iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan. Initially launching in a handful of cities, including New York, London, and Mexico City, Maps added more cities to its list in October 2015 with Sydney, Australia and Boston.
You'll now find support for transit directions in Maps in the following locations:
- Austin, TX
- Baltimore, MD
- Berlin, Germany
- Boston, MA
- Chicago, IL
- China
- London, England
- Los Angeles, CA
- Mexico City, Mexico
- New York City, NY
- Philadelphia, PA
- San Francisco, CA
- Sydney, Australia
- Toronto, Canada
- Washington, DC
