Netflix now lets you download some TV shows and movies

Netflix adds the long-requested feature for select programs and movies.
With the latest update to its app for iPhone and iPad, Netflix has added a long-awaited feature: downloads for TV shows and movies. For now, only a portion of Netflix's library is available for download, but the feature allows you to keep up that binge of Stranger Things without worrying about going over your data plan or having to buy in-flight Wi-Fi.

While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we've often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where Internet is expensive or limited. Just click the download button on the details page for a film or TV series and you can watch it later without an internet connection.
To help you know what shows, movies, and specials can be downloaded, Netflix has added a new section to the sidebar of its app called Available for Download. Just click the menu button at the top of the screen to get started.
