Get the most out of your workouts with these new Polar watches

Time to get fit.

Fitness buffs can look forward to two new watches from Polar. The company is rolling out the Vantage V and Vantage M as additions to its existing lineup. These will give you more insight into your workouts than your average fitness tracker.

The Vantage M will run you $280, while the Vantage V is a larger chunk of change at $500. The Vantage V model, as you can guess by its price point, is intended for über-serious competitors that need all the stats they can get.

Both watches come bearing a Training Load Pro system, which takes muscular, cardiovascular, and perceived loads into account to give you an idea of how effective your workouts are. If you opt for the Vantage V, you'll also have access to a Recovery Pro system to help you track your body's recuperation as well as running power data for more insight into cardio.

If you're not training for a triathlon or hoping to become an Olympian, you can probably just opt for something more affordable like a Fitbit to help you reach your fitness goals. However, if you need some serious stats to match your serious workouts, head to Polar and pre-order the Vantage M or Vantage V.
