Fortnite fans who have been holding off on purchasing a Nintendo Switch console are in for a treat. This morning, Nintendo unveiled a bundle for its latest console which includes exclusive bonus items for the game.
The Nintendo Switch: Fortnite - Double Helix Bundle features Neon Red and Blue Joy-Con controllers and comes with the standard accessories that every new Nintendo Switch comes with: a dock, controller grip, and Joy-Con wrist straps. However, this version also packages in the Double Helix set which includes an exclusive outfit for your Fortnite character, Back Bling, Glider, and a Pickaxe. You'll receive 1,000 V-bucks as well, which is a currency that can be used in-game for new weapons, character skins, and more.
With Christmas just a few months away now, the Double Helix bundle would be a great buy for any obsessed Fornite fans in your family. However, it's worth remembering Nintendo recently announced several other Nintendo Switch bundles which would be perfect holiday pickups as well, including the Pokémon Let's Go bundle, the Walmart-exclusive Mario Tennis Aces bundle, and the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate bundle which is yet to be found for pre-order.
The Fortnite Double Helix Bundle is set to release in North America and Europe on October 5th at the console's regular price of $299.99. GameStop now has it available for pre-order, though other retailers have yet to be announced.
