Acer’s Chromebook Spin 13 gets rare $200 discount for Cyber Monday

A worthy choice.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 13 convertible laptop is down to $699.99 on Amazon. That's $200 off the Acer's regular price, and the best deal price we've ever seen on Amazon.

You could also get the Samsung XE510C24-K01US Chromebook Pro at a deal price. It's down to $419.99 from a street price around $520. Both of these deals are part of a larger Cyber Monday Amazon sale we covered earlier. While the sale is mostly internal PC components, these Chromebook deals are really good and would probably be missed if not pointed out.

The Acer Chromebook Spin comes with Google's Chrome OS, built-in anti-virus, automatic updates, and more. All the Google apps available to you will give you a lot of functionality in the form of Google Docs, Sheets, and other programs. With the Google Play Store, you'll have access to games, music, movies, and all of Google's library of content.

The specifications for the laptop itself include a Core i5-8250U processor, a 13.5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass, 10-point multi-touch, and 2256 x 1504 pixel resolution. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB flash storage with a 10-hour battery life.

One of the main limitations of the Chromebook is it has low dedicated storage. Although 128GB is probably plenty for light work, you could easily invest in a new microSD card down to its lowest price right now.
