OS X Yosemite sees fastest adoption rate ever at 55% after 8 months

Yosemite has seen an amazing adoption rate, with 55% of users already using it after only 8 months since its launch.

On stage at WWDC 2015, Apple announced that OS X Yosemite has seen the fastest adoption rate of any operating system ever. Currently, 55% of users are running the OS, and that is just 8 months after its release. In comparison, Windows 8.1 sits at an 8% adoption rate, which is a huge difference.

Apple has just announced its latest operating system, OS X El Capitan. Stay tuned for all the changes that will be introduced in this upcoming release.
