Add photos, create checklists, draw sketches, and more with Notes in iOS 9

Apple will be adding a number of features to its Notes app in iOS 9, including the ability to create checklists, easily add photos, and even sketch a drawing with your finger.

On stage at WWDC 2015, Apple showed off some of the upcoming changes users will see in the iOS 9 Notes app. Apple has added a new toolbar over the keyboard with several formatting options. Around half of iPhone users are currently using the Notes app, and with iOS 9 they will be able to add photos, create checklists, draw quick sketches with their finger, and much more. In addition, Notes will now appear in the Share Sheet, letting users quickly add a link right from Safari.

Notes will still sync everything through iCloud, as it does currently. Additionally, Notes will remain organized by time and it will now show thumbnails if there are images, or an attachment view with photos, maps, or weblinks included.
